About Troop 595
Originating in Birdsboro and now serving Douglassville and Southeastern Berks,
Troop 595 is one of the oldest and finest Troops in Hawk Mountain Council!
This year we are celebrating 69 years of sharing Scouting with the young men of the area.
We meet Mondays at 7pm

We are a youth run troop with youth development and leadership skills while also offering an active outdoor program
which builds on traditional ideals of the Scout Oath and Law.
Some of these traditional events include year-round camping (including a week of summer camp),
First Aid meets, Klondike Derby, Conservation Service Projects, hikes, merit badge colleges, participation in American Legion flag ceremonies & Order of the Arrow events and tours of historical parks and monuments..
Our recent adventures have included Tours of Boston, Gettysburg, Washington DC, Philadelphia, West Point Military Academy, Colonial Williamsburg and other historic trails! We have conducted our own summer camp in Maryland in 2020, traveled to Tennessee in 2022 and in 2023 visited North Carolina.
